Air Deccan launches 3 new flights from Kolkata

Low fare carrier Air Deccan on Monday launched three new daily flights between Kolkata and Aizawl, Bagdogra and Bhubaneshwar using 48-seater ATR-42 aircraft.

The special promotional fares for these sectors are Rs 1,499 for Kolkata-Aizawl sector, Rs 1,749 for Kolkata-Bagdogra and Rs 1,499 for Kolkata-Bhubaneshwar, the airline said in a release in New Delhi.

These fares would be valid till August 21, following which dynamic fares would come into place, it said.

Claiming that the airline was also in the process of connecting the unconnected towns and cities, Air Deccan managing director G R Gopinath said he visualised huge traffic from these three cities to Kolkata.
