CSS India opens Hyderabad unit

CSS Software India, the Indian IT service subsidiary of US-headquartered Cybernet Software Systems, has opened its office in Hyderabad and unveiled plans to aggressively target Andhra Pradesh enterprise resource planning market.

CSS Software India plans to hire over 500 professionals, specifically in ERP, Net and Java space over the next 12 months for its India IT services business to take the headcount to 650 from the current 150 employees, a company release said.

The company, which offers software development, testing and infrastructure management, will target the manufacturing and engineering companies in the SME segment.

CSS has over 10 customers in India, including leading private sector banks, telecom providers and automobile manufacturers.

Commenting on the aggressive India Expansion, Mani Sam, Business Head, CSS Software India said, "...We have chalked out a focused and aggressive go-to-market strategy targeting the domestic Indian IT services market and aim to replicate the success we have had in the global market". PTI SR MB KM
