The Confederation of Indian Industry and its Lao counterpart have agreed to cooperate in industrial and technological advancement, exchange professional experience and information about economic and commercial matters of the two countries.

Under the MoU signed by Sunil Kant Munjal of CII and Kissana Vongsay of Lao National Chamber of Commerce on Sunday, both Chambers agreed to exchange information about industrial training, sources of financing, offers and requests for joint ventures and licensing and identification of areas to promote industrial and technological cooperation.

Appreciating the establishment of Laos-India entrepreneurship development centre and the setting up of an Information Technology Centre in Vientiane by India, Munjal and Vongsay said both the institutions realised the potential of mutually beneficial partnership for the business and industry in supporting the activities of the two initiatives.
