An Indian rosewood, wrought iron and iron low table, now in the private collection of a former employee of Corbusier and Jeanneret in Chandigarh, is expected to fetch between $100,000 and 120,000.
It is 45 cm high and 90
cm in diameter. It was designed by both Corbusier and Jeanneret and was made in 1960.
A caned Indian rosewood chauffeuse, designed in 1960 by Jeanneret for General Hospital reception lounge, is expected to go for between $40,000 and 50,000. It is 70 cm high, 78 cm wide and 53.5 cm deep.
