SAP CEO to visit India this month

With India becoming a strong market for German business software company SAP AG's enterprise product, its CEO Henning Kagermann will visit the country on August 28 to further tap the potential.

Kagermann will be accompanied by the company's senior mamnagement members when he meets senior government officials, customers, partners and vendors to expand business in the local market.

India is of major strategic importance to SAP as it is a vibrant market with a sound technology development and services-support

delivery. This visit is also to reaffirm their commitment to the Indian sub-continent, a company official said.

SAP has completed a decade of operations in India and has over 1,000 customers in New Delhi.

India is among the top eight strategic markets for SAP globally and contributes significantly to its customer base both locally as well as in the wider global market. Building on the strong base of customers and partners, SAP aims to enhance its growth in India with a focus on verticals and expansion of SAP offices.
