BreitlingSwiss luxury watchmaker Breitling launched the Navitimer Caliber 01 in Mumbai on Sunday.

It was the first time the company's brand ambassador, Hollywood star John Travolta, who has been associated with the brand since 2005, launched a new model of the watch brand.

Breitling is a family-owned Swiss company formed in 1884, which started bymaking watches for aviators.

The company has been in India since 2004.

"The Navitimer Caliber 01 would cost Rs 406,000. We have seen a healthy, consistent two-digit

growth in sales since our launch in India.

It is a key market for our growth and we are looking at increasing our points of sale, presently 12, in the major metro and other big cities in the country," said Mathieu Brunisholz, India head of sales.

Travolta, who is also a pilot, having over 6,000 hours of flying time to his credit, said, "My passion for aviation and precision is something that attracted me to this brand."
