Bharti Telesoft in 'Deloitte Fast 50' list

Bharti Telesoft, a supplier of value added services platforms to wireline and wireless carriers, has been ranked as one of the country's fast growing 50 technology companies by Deloitte Technology.

Bharti Telesoft, part of Bharti Enterprises, a group encompassing India's largest telecom service provider, Bharti Tele-Ventures, was selected after rigorous analysis by Deloitte Technology following evaluation of many upcoming companies in terms of their business and profitability models, and their track record for sustained growth among other criteria, a company release said.

''We believe that our cutting-edge technology and innovation in the telecom space in providing market leading wireless VAS has enabled us to achieve the position of one of India's fastest growing technology companies,'' the release said quoting Sanjiv Mital, CEO Bharti Telesoft.

Established in San Jose, California, in 1995, the 'Deloitte Technology Fast 50' ranks the 50 fastest growing technology companies by geographic region.

The growing program operates independently in India and in 10 major technology-focused countries, including the United States, as well as in the Central Europe region.

The 'India Fast 50' programs honour companies that have shown the strength, vision and temerity to succeed in competitive technology environment.

Bharti Telesoft provided value added products and solutions to wireless and wireline telecom service providers. It is flexible, telco-grade applications span the core areas of an operator's business - messaging, call management, roaming, prepaid, customer care and billing, and content.

Bharti had deployed value added solutions in over 25 countries to service providers operating over 100 networks and serving over 50 million subscribers.

The company is ranked as one of Asia's Top 100 Technology Companies by Red Herring, a premier business technology and innovation magazine, the release said.
