Bang & Olfusen phones in India

Dutch electronic and telephone manufacturer Bang & Olufsen on Thursday announced its entry in the Indian telecom sector and launched various models of wired and cordless basic telephone equipments.

The company, targeting to reach out to about one per cent of the population, is aiming at a turnover of Rs 100 crore (Rs 1 billion) in the next 2-3 years, Bang & Olufsen India CEO Prekash Ramsingh said in New Delhi.

The price range of the products is between Rs 6,000 to Rs 24,000 a phone.
