An Indo-Bahrain joint venture company has been established in Bahrain to provide turnkey solutions for telecom infrastructure and areas like IT security.
TVS UNEECO Networks Solutions was established as a Bahrain-based joint venture company between an Indian IT and telecommunication solution and service provider, TVS Interconnect Systems (TVSICS), the UNEECO Group and the Tatweer Management Systems.
UNEECO Group has served the Gulf Cooperation Council market for more than 30 years and Tatweer Management Systems has a vast experience within many sectors of the GCC.
The new company will provide optimised and advanced hi-tech solutions and services to the different sectors of the growing GCC market, Chairman of the joint venture Abdulla Juma was quoted as saying in Gulf Daily News.
"The company will also focus on transferring technology, recruiting and training local Bahraini engineers and adding value through offering the latest technologies within the IT networking and telecommunication industries," he added.
TVS Interconnect Systems is a fully-owned subsidiary of the TVS Group that was established in 1911, with current group revenue of more than $4 billion annually and employing 25,000 people.
The TVSICS subsidiary was established in 1999 to offer optimised solutions to the telecommunication and networking segment, said its Chairman Harish Ramachandran.
