L&T, i-flex win PHDCCI awards

Larsen and Toubro, i-flex and Hindustan Petroleum Corporation were presented the PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry Awards for Excellence 2004 on Friday.

L&T bagged the award for promoting the concept of ethics in business, while HPCL got it for good corporate governance.

i-flex received the brand equity award for its flagship banking solution 'Flexcube'.

PHDCCI's entrepreneurship award for 2004 went to Havell's India chairman Qimat Rai Gupta.

L&T board member J P Nayak, HPCL chairman M B Lal and i-flex chief Rajesh Hukku received the awards from the Defence Minister Pranab Mukherjee at PHDCCI's 99th annual general session in New Delhi.
