Hero Honda launches superbike in India @ Rs 17.5 lakh

Japanese two-wheeler maker Honda on Friday launched super bike VFR1200F at ex-showroom price of Rs 17.5 lakhs (Rs 1.75 million) in New Delhi.

"This fun bike is manufactured at the Honda's most advanced facility and the mother plant of global motorcycles -- the Kumamoto factory in Japan.

VFR1200F is a concept driven by extensive customer needs", said Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India president and chief executive officer Shinji Aoyama.

The new bike from the Honda's stable is powered by a 1237 cc V4 engine.
