Available only in diesel model and in ZDi trim level
Maruti-Suzuki’s stand at Auto Expo 2016 also includes the Maruti Swift Dzire with Automatic Gear Shift (AGS) that was launched at Rs 839,000 last month. The Automatic Gear Shift option is exclusive to the diesel engine and available only in the range-topping ZDi trim level.
The Maruti Swift Dzire AGS features the regular Fiat-sourced 1.3-litre DDiS turbocharged four-cylinder diesel engine that produces 75 PS and 190 Nm of torque.
The 5-speed automated manual transmission is sourced from Magneti Marelli and its fuel economy is rated at 26.59 km/l.
Exterior and interior features remain the same as the 5-speed manual transmission-equipped ZDi trim level.
On the outside the DZire ZDi AGS comes with black tinted headlamps, chrome front grille, front fog lamps, chrome fog lamp bezel ornament and alloy wheels and back glass defogger.
Other noteworthy features include reverse parking sensor, engine push start-stop button, seat height adjuster, outside temperature display, steering wheel mounted audio and calling controls, automatic AC and sound system with four speakers and two tweeters.
