With the boom in the real estate market in the country, leading developer Ansal Housing and Construction Ltd is expecting a turnover of about Rs 250 crore (Rs 2.5 billion) from its upcoming residential project in Haryana in the next 3-4 years.

The company would develop the integrated township, Ansal Town, in 98 acres of land in sector 36 of Karnal, Ansal said in a communique to the Bombay Stock Exchange. The township would be located parallel to the National Highway - 1 and it would accommodate in-house amenities like schools, hospitals, clubs and commercial multiplexes, the company added.

The statement further added that the company would undertake all the development and marketing work. Earlier on June 11, Ansal Housing announced development of another residential project at Rewari with an expected turnover of Rs 150 crore (Rs 1.5 billion) in the next 2-3 years.
