American cos view India having great potential

American companies view India as having great potential for their products, White House Press Secretary Jay Carney said on Wednesday.

India is a growing economy and, I'm

sure, one that Americans companies view as having great potential for their products," he told reporters at his daily news conference.

Carney was responding to questions on the recent news report of the Ford company of the US announcing major investment in India.
