Under the scheme which provides "carry the tariff home" benefit to customers, Airtel users in Mumbai visiting Maharashtra and Goa circles and vice versa would be charged their home tariffs as applicable in their respective circles, an Airtel release said.
The tariff benefit will be made available to all new as well as existing prepaid customers with effect from May 1, while postpaid customers can avail the benefit from May 7, it added.
