Fly Delhi-Jabalpur @ Rs 700!

Deccan Airways is all set to introduce its New Delhi-Jabalpur service from December 15.

Announcing this in Jabalpur on Monday, M S Gujral, managing director of Rishi Regency, a travel agency for the airlines, said a sixty-seater Deccan Airbus would operate on the route and also stop at Indore and Bhopal before reaching Jabalpur.

On its return flight, it would also have stopovers at Bhopal and Indore, he added. The service would start early morning and it is yet to be decided if the service would be daily or thrice a week, he said, adding that soon a decision would be taken in that regard.

The tariff of the service from Delhi to Jabalpur would be Rs 700 per person, he announced.

Meanwhile, the Dumna airfield has been modernised and night landing facilities are expected to be completed soon, airport sources said.
