Now, fly J-class with Indian Airlines

November 05, 2004 15:35 IST
Indian Airlines has launched a new scheme to enhance executive class travel by business travelers and corporate executives.

The scheme would encourage middle level executives, who would otherwise be entitled to economy class, to travel `J' class.

It is also aimed at promoting companion or spouse travel, an airlines release said on Friday.

The companion accompanying a full fare paying passenger travelling in 'J' class will be entitled to a 50 per cent discount on 'J' class fare while travelling together, it said.

The scheme is available for one way or round trip travel on Indian Airlines' domestic and international sectors for both Indians and foreigners residing in India and will be valid for travel between November 5 and February 4 2005.
