The new notebooks have been priced at Rs 59,999-69,999 and would be available all across the country in the next two weeks.
"We are expecting a 40 per cent growth in our revenues this year at Rs 1,100 crore (Rs 11 billion) from Rs 869 crore (Rs 8.69 billion) recorded last year," Acer India managing director W S Mukund told reporters in New Delhi.
He said with introduction of Intel's technology the performance of the newly-launched notebooks would double and the battery life will also increase drastically.
Acer derives maximum revenues from education and banking and finance verticals, he said.
The company is also planning to increase the number of retail outlets to 300 by the end of this year from 250 at present, Acer India general manager, sales and marketing, S Rajendran said.
Acer has a market share of 5.2 per cent in the Desktop segment and 5.8 per cent in the Notebooks space, Rajendran added.
He said the company has moved one place up to number three in PC vendor's list according to Quarter 1 data by Gartner Dataquest.
