Acer Power PC at Rs 20,999

Acer, one of the world's top five branded PC vendors, on Wednesday announced the launch of its Acer Power 290 series PC for the SMB market, based on Intel's latest Pentium 4 processor technology.

The Acer Power 290, the latest introduction to Acer's range of PCs, uses the Pentium 4 Processor 2.66 Ghz (1 MB L2 cache, 533 Mhz FSB) 910 GL chipset, for increased power and excellent performance, a company release said.

Using the Linux Operating system, the distinctive feature of the Acer Power 290, apart from having the latest Intel 64-bit technology for power-packed performance, was the Lifetime Anti Virus from E Trust.

It is available at Rs 20,999, with a one-year onsite warranty.  ''The Acer Power 290 is an unbeatable and feature rich product for the MNC community. With this, we have broken all margins without compromising on features, a first in the industry,'' said S Rajendran, GM, Acer India.
