American Airlines: New reservation facility

March 29, 2006 13:37 IST

American Airlines on Wednesday launched its new telephonic ticket reservation facility - Del Express Service - for passengers flying from India.

"This is a step towards making us more accessible to our customers and offering them an opportunity to make reservations through a simple process without wastage of any time or effort," American Airlines regional manager (Indian subcontinent) Nisha Maharaj said.

As a part of the new service, passengers can book tickets on phone and on confirmation the tickets will be either home delivered or mailed. The new service also offers passengers facilities to make changes and process other transactions.

American Airlines had launched its non-stop flight from Delhi-Chicago in November 2005.
