A 23-year-old employee of scam-ravaged Satyam [Get Quote] Computers allegedly committed suicide in Chennai, apparently fearing that he may lose his job, police said. Vishwa Venkatesan, hailing from Salem, on Wednesday consumed poison. He was referred to the General Hospital where he died, they said.
The fear of losing his job drove him to take the extreme step, they said.
Venkatesan had earlier also made similar attempts after the scam broke out early this month but was saved due to the timely action, police added.
