With Congress accusing him of not inviting the party to the talks on the Singur issue, Governor Gopalkrishna Gandhi has said he had 'factored-in' most points in the Congress resolution on the issue.
The Governor in a letter dated September 8 to West Bengal Pradesh Congress Committee Chief P R Dasmunsi said he had invited chairman of the Standing Committee on Commerce and Industries Sudip Bandopadhay for detailed discussions on his assessment of the situation and suggestions.
Bandhopadhyay, a Congress MLA, had handed over a resolution of the Pradesh Congress Committee to him and he had 'studied the representation with due care and factored-in several of its points in the talks' between West Bengal government and Trinamool Congress, he said.
The Governor said the resolution demanded normal traffic on the national highway and he addressed the matter.
