In a new twist to the Singur controversy, West Bengal Industry Minister Nirupam Sen told television channel CNN-IBN that Tata Motors [Get Quote] will not lose any land.
Stating that Sunday's talks were not final as far as land reallocation in Singur was concerned, Sen said the state government will not take away any land from the mother plant or the ancillary units.
He further said that, it will be West Bengal's loss if Nano is rolled out of Pantnagar or anywhere else but Singur.
