The Anil Ambani group firm, Reliance Natural Resources Ltd [Get Quote], clocked a net profit of Rs 20.10 crore (Rs 201 million) for the second quarter ended September 30, a 4.91 per cent growth over the corresponding period a year ago. The firm had recorded a net profit of Rs 19.16 crore (Rs 191.6 million) in the second quarter last fiscal, RNRL said in a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange.
The total income of the company rose 32 per cent to Rs 80.91 crore (Rs 809.1 million) for the quarter under review, from Rs 61.31 crore (Rs 613.1 million) in the year-ago period.
For the six months ended September 30, RNRL reported a net profit of Rs 36.17 crore (Rs 361.7 million), a 5.72 per cent growth over the corresponding year-ago period. The firm had a net profit of Rs 34.21 crore (Rs 342.1 million) in the same period last fiscal.
The total operating income rose to Rs 87.21 crore (Rs 872.1 million) during the six months, from Rs 36.75 crore (Rs 367.5 million) in the year-ago period.
