AI plans seamless connection to New York

Air India has announced that it will be adding to the seamless transfer facility to passengers from Bangalore travelling to international destinations like New York, Newark, London, Frankfurt and Chicago by introduction of a new hub and spoke flight between Bangalore and Mumbai from October 26.

The new flight AI 623 operated with the Airbus A321 will leave Bangalore at 8 pm to reach Mumbai International airport (Sahar terminal) at 9.30 pm daily enabling international passengers from Bangalore to connect to various international destinations.

Besides other international destinations, this new facility is beneficial to passengers bound for New York from Bangalore.

Air India has made necessary arrangements for through check-in of passengers baggage and issuing boarding cards up to New York at Bangalore itself.

Passengers will complete their customs and immigration formalities before boarding the flight at Bangalore. On arrival at Mumbai international terminal they will be received and facilitated at the transit lounge before boarding the non stop flight AI 141 leaving Mumbai at 1245 am daily to reach JFK airport at 7.10 am.
