Industrialist Vinod L Doshi passed away after a protracted illness at Mumbai's Jaslok Hospital on Monday evening.
He was 76 and is survived by wife Saryu Doshi, an art scholar, and son Maitreya.
Doshi, who came from an illustrious industrial family, was the son of the late Lalchand Hirachand of the Walchand Hirachand Group.
He headed Premier Ltd [Get Quote] and was the past president (1982-83) of AIEI (present-day Confederation of Indian Industry).
