Reliance Digital opens 'iStore'

Reliance Digital, the consumer durables information technology arm of Reliance [Get Quote] Retail, on Wednesday announced opening of 'iStore' in Hyderabad to offer a range of Apple products in professional and consumer segments.

Spread over 2,875 square feet, the store will house products such as iMac consumer desktop computers, MacBookconsumer notebooks, Mac Pro and MacBook Pro, iPods and the entire suite of Mac software along with over 500 accessories and peripherals.

"'iStore' will also offer specific training modules for different Mac applications through regular training modules.

Customers also have access to dedicated after sales service and troubleshooting through an in-house service arm called ResQ," Reliance Digital CEO Ajay Baijal said in a statement.

Reliance Digital plans to open iStores across all major cities of India. Reliance Retail started rolling its stores in November 2006 and now operates over 500 stores in over 49 cities spanning over three million square feet with different formats.
