Looking forward to savour some Hyderabadi haleem and then giving up just because you don't live in Hyderabad? As the wait for this nutritious serving ends tomorrow with the beginning of Ramzan month, the famed Hyderabadi haleem can now be easily ordered from just about anywhere.

City-based food chain Pista House and logistics and express delivery service provider Gati Limited have joined hands for the worldwide distribution of haleem, online.

"We have been associated with Pista House for the last five years for pick-and-delivery service of haleem, but the latest addition this year is the online service. All a foodie needs to do is place his order on our website www.gati.com through credit card, and the haleem would be delivered at his doorstep within 48 hours," Anil Atri, national sales head, Gati, told mediapersons here on Thursday.

Gati would leverage its network of over 600 offices with service capabilities across 594 of the 602 districts across the country, besides offices in Bangkok, Hong Kong, Singapore, Shanghai and Dubai for the distribution of haleem globally, he added.

"The canned haleem that would be distributed will have a shelf life of 15 days and has been tested and approved by the department of food, Andhra Pradesh," MA Majeed, proprietor of Pista House, said. A one-kg tin of haleem would cost Rs 320, including delivery charges.

Haleem, made of mutton, wheat and ghee, is usually consumed by Muslims to break their fast during Ramzan.
