Farmers from India's suicide zone - Vidarbha - will share their experience with others at an agriculture exhibition organised by 'Agrowon', an agriculture daily, from February 3 to 6 at College of Engineering, Pune.

According to a press note, Vidarbha farmers will address the gathering and narrate their tale of survival. They are also expected to tell the delegates how they recovered from the suicidal tendencies after successive crop failures.

Over 2 lakh farmers are expected to visit the exhibition to be inaugurated by Maharashtra Minister of State for Agriculture Balasaheb Thorat. Prominent personalities are also expected to take part in the event.

Maharashtra Chief Minister Vilasrao Deshmukh will inaugurate an agri product mandi on February 4. Farmers from different parts of the state will share their views and knowledge at the event. Main feature of the exhibition is an agri mandi, where farmers will sell their own agri products.
