The country's biggest carmaker Maruti Udyog Ltd [Get Quote] on Monday hiked the prices of its vehicles across all models between Rs 1,500 and Rs 15,000.

The increase in price will be effective from January 9, the company said in a statement.

MUL had increased the prices of its vehicle in October last citing increased input costs and freight costs, which went up following rise in oil prices.
