"Three students of IIM-A went to HSBC last year and it has happened this year too. Everybody in my family are really happy and delighted with the offer," said Singhvi, who will join HSBC's Investment Banking division in June.
Hailing from Jodhpur, Ravi Singhvi spent his schooling and college days at Blue Bells School and Shri Ram College of Commerce at New Delhi. He is also a qualified chartered accountant. He had worked with Arthur Anderson and Citibank.
Ravi had completed his summer project with Goldman Sachs at New York. "It is indeed a great year for graduating. The south Asian economies are growing fast and IIM-A now attracts the best recruiters in the world," he said.
Yugandhar Karna from Hyderabad is a computer science graduate from IIT Guwahati. "I got the Goldman Sachs offer through the summers. It has been a fairytale for me, but yes, I have put in a lot of effort," said Karna.
