Maruti Udyog Ltd [Get Quote] may go in for another round of price revision by this year-end and raise prices across all models by up to Rs 15,000 for some variants.

Due to increase in freight costs, the company has decided to pass on the burden to its consumers. The revision would come into effect from January 2006 after the company's second budget meeting, dealer sources said in New Delhi.

MUL had increased prices in October due to increase in oil prices, which triggered freight costs.

There shall be no production in MUL factory from December 24 to December 31 on account of plant maintenance shutdown, the sources said.
