My old faithful Sony Ericsson T-610, which is also my virtual connection with the rest of the world.

First crush?

Hi-Fidelity music systems. Kenwood was the ultimate brand for turntables/ amplifiers and of course the speakers had to be Bose.

Your True Love?

My Dell Latitude laptop with associated software. A complete compact, light and functional office and entertainment system, it is easy to carry, and provides me with the best in Internet connectivity.

Latest squeeze?

My daughter's iPod mini. It is definitely a great companion during my morning walk sessions.

What makes you mad?

Intrusion into private time is a definite no for me. In fact, that's reason enough for me to resist investing in a Blackberry.

What would you most love to see?

I would love to see the bridging of the digital divide materialise into reality. In an increasingly knowledge based society, it is clear that those who are unable to get connected will be at a disadvantage.

Your biggest tech disaster?

Reformatting the computer disk and doing away with an entire library of personal moments in the form of digital photographs.

If money was no object?

Money is no object. It's all electronic.

PC or MAC?

PC. Never really connected with a Mac.

Linux or Windows?

Windows - except when it hangs!

Google or not?

What would life be without Google, a great knowledge multiplier for me.

How wrong have you been?

Technology is for the Gen I. Even my mother is hooked to it.
