Exim policy highlights

Following are the highlights of the Mini Exim Policy:
QRs removed on gold, silver, power and air guns.
Export of fertilisers liberalised.
Duty free import for heritage and small hotels.
DFES allowed on imports of all capital goods.
Ceiling of export of gifts raised to Rs 500,000.
Import of prototypes to be allowed for R&D.
E-commerce initiatives introduced.
Duty free fuel allowed.
Gold Card scheme for credit-worthy exporters.
Drawback band rates for deemed exports decentralised.
Deemed export benefits for zero duty items.
Equity base of ECGC hiked to Rs 800 crore.
