India Inc bullish on growth

The feel-good factor seems to continue, with a majority of the sectors expected to perform moderately or substantially better in the next six months, according to the FICCI Business Confidence Survey for the quarter ended December 2003.

According to the survey, the industry feels the economic condition will be moderately or substantially better compared with that in the last six months.

Of the 504 companies that responded to the survey, 91 per cent rated the economic conditions being 'moderately to substantially' better than that in the last six months.
