News Corporation's subsidiary Star India Pvt Ltd has entered into a co-publishing venture with bookseller and publisher Popular Prakashan Pvt Ltd to launch activity books based on two popular shows, 'Shaka Laka Boom Boom' and 'Sonpari.'

"The activity books are to encourage fun activities and drawing and draft skills in children," Popular Prakashan director Harsha Bhatkal told reporters.

The companies would also conduct a children's colouring competition, which would held at Oxford Bookstore in Mumbai, he said.
