William
Henry Gates III, Chairman of Microsoft Corporation, is the richest man in the
world. He has also been the richest man in America for 10 years running.
His personal
wealth is estimated at $46 billion by Forbes magazine.
Gates, also the chief architect of the world's largest software company, is looking to go
beyond his company's domination over PCs. Microsoft now plans to offer
smart software for mobile phones, television sets, cars, and even
wristwatches.
Bill Gates, during his last India visit, also said that Microsoft will invest heavily in the country.
