India's ministry of commerce and China's Chamber of International Commerce are also extending support to the exhibition, a CII release said.

The show would project India's strengths in sectors other than IT, and would drive home the message that there is more to India than information technology, it added.

CII has also planned five major events during the show, with a round table on steel, besides conferences on textiles, auto components, tourism and information technology.
