Infosys Q2 net jumps 33%

Infosys Technologies Ltd said on Friday that its net profit for the quarter ending September 30 rose 33 per cent at Rs 300 crore (Rs 3 billion) when compared with Rs 225.77 crore (Rs 2.26 billion) in Q2FY03.

Total income increased 31 per cent to Rs 1,179.03 crore (Rs 11.79 billion) from Rs 897.10 crore (Rs 8.97 billion) in SQ02, according to a company release.

Total income increased to Rs 1,194.96 crore (Rs 11.95 billion) from Rs 898.79 crore (Rs 8.99 billion) in the corresponding quarter of the last fiscal, the release added.
