IOC net profit at Rs 6,115 cr

Indian Oil Corporation on Tuesday reported 111.9 per cent rise in its net profit at Rs 6,115 crore (Rs 61.15 billion) during 2002-03 as against Rs 2,885 crore (Rs 28.85 billion) in the previous fiscal.

The turnover of the company during the last fiscal stood at Rs 1,19,848 crore (Rs 1,198.48 billion) as compared to Rs 1,14,864 crore (Rs 1148.64 billion) in 2001-02, IOC Chairman M S Ramchandran told reporters.

IOC also declared a dividend of 290 per cent (Rs 29 per share) for the fiscal 2001-02.
