CAS: Zee Turner, NIS to train cable operators

Zee Turner Ltd and National Institute of Sales on Monday launched a comprehensive training programme 'Smart Sellers' for cable operators to help them to educate and inform consumers about the advantages of conditional access system.

The training programme from June 18 to July 10, would be conducted in Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai and Kolkata.

"Cable operators have always been an integral part of our business and are our brand ambassadors to the consumers. We felt the need to organise the training programme for cable operators since CAS is all set to redefine their role," Zee Turner CEO, Sunil Khanna, said in a statement.

Zee Turner, the distribution arm of Zee Films and Turner International, expects that the 'Smart Selling' programme would cover 2,000 cable operators.

Apart from selling skills, the programme would impart training on technical details of Set Top Boxes and crisis management.
