Cabinet decides to repeal IDBI Act

The Union Cabinet on Tuesday decided to repeal the Industrial Development Bank of India Act in the coming winter session of Parliament and corporatise the financial institution.

This was announced here by Information and Broadcasting Minister Sushma Swaraj after a Cabinet meeting chaired by Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee.
