Telco to hike Indica prices from June 1

India's largest truck maker Tata Engineering and Locomotive Company Ltd said on Thursday it will increase prices of its passenger cars and utility vehicles by 1.5 per cent to 3.5 per cent from June 1.

Telco said its Indica DLS passenger car model will have an ex-showroom cost of Rs 362,878 in Delhi and Rs 364,139 in Bombay, while the Indica DLE model will cost Rs 341,089 in Delhi and Rs 341,816 in Bombay.

It did not give details of prices of other vehicles.

Telco shares ended 2.08 per cent lower at Rs 82.25 at the Bombay Stock Exchange on Thursday, while the Sensex closed 0.82 per cent down.
