Yashwant Sinha leaves for US

Union Finance Minister Yashwant Sinha left early Tuesday morning on a ten-day visit to the United States.

There was no official version yet on the purpose of his visit, but sources close to him said he might undergo a health check-up there, besides undertaking some lecture assignments and having some meetings.

Reports in a section of the media said he would undergo kidney treatment in the United States, but there was no official confirmation.
