 Balaji Distilleries Board allots 4 million shares to ICICI
 Balaji Distilleries Ltd has informed BSE that the Board of Directors has allotted 4 million equity shares of Rs.10 each to ICICI Ltd., being conversion of a part of the outstanding amount aggregating to Rs.40 million of the rupee term loan of Rs.250 million.

 Adani Exports fixes revised Book Closure dates

 BSE imposes AVM on 21 scrips
 BSE has informed the Members of the Exchange that Additional volatility Margin (AVM) has been imposed on the following scrips for the settlement No.016/2001-2002 commencing on July 09, 2001. The AVM would be computed on the net outstanding Purchase or Sales position as may be applicable including carryforward positions at the end of day at the rate given below. The rate of AVM would remain unchanged for the entire settlement.

 Geometric Software Q1 net down by 10.46%
 Geometric Software Solutions Co. Ltd has posted a net profit of Rs 21.39 million for the quarter ended June 30, 2001 as against Rs 23.89 million for the quarter ended June 30, 2000. Net Sales - Software and Services for the quarter ended June 30, 2001 is higher by 60.46%, at Rs 140.47 million as compared to Rs 87.54 million in quarter ended June 30, 2000.
Other Income for JQ 2001 is at Rs 4.46 million as against Rs 5.12 million for JQ 2000.

 Shipping Corporation Q1 results on July 16, 2001
 A meeting of the Board of Directors of Shipping Corporation of India Ltd is scheduled to be held on July 16, 2001 to consider the accounts for the financial year ended March 31, 2001 and recommendation of Final Dividend, if any.
The aforesaid meeting will also consider the unaudited financial results of the Company for the first quarter ended June 30, 2001.
