TCS ties up with Israel firm to offer e-com servicesTata Consultancy Services, India's largest software exporter, said it is joining hands with Israel-based Trivnet, which provides online payment solutions, to offer services in e-commerce and mobile commerce. This will allow subscribers of Internet service providers and wireless carriers to shop online and charge purchases to mobile phone bills or credit cards, the Indian firm said in a statement late on Tuesday. "The collaboration will enable carriers and service providers to offer subscribers a secure and simple method of payment as part of their overall e-business strategy," said S Ramadorai, chief executive officer of Tata Consultancy Services. The subscribers will also be able to charge purchases to their regular phone bills or those charged by Internet providers. The privately-held Tata Consultancy is a division of the Tata Group, one of India's largest industrial conglomerates.
