After 28 years and hundreds of stays in Indian homes, Stephen Huyler says, 'One of the reasons we misunderstand Indian culture is that Hindu society is divided into public and private spheres. Most outsiders don't have any contact with the private sphere.'

Silicon Valley landlord arrested in prostitution charges
Officials in Berkeley said Lakireddy Bali Reddy, who owns over 1,000 apartment units and is a Silicon Valley millionaire, has been charged with importing immigrants from India for prostitution.

Temples are not enough!
'In the half century that Indians have been in America in substantial numbers, there is not a single college or university, or even to our knowledge, a high school to our name.
