New look Rediff.com goes online

Rediff.com India Limited (NASDAQ:REDF) has relaunched its site www.rediff.com making it more user friendly with several
enhanced features added to its existing services, primarily targeting the growing base of new Internet users in India and overseas. The
Indian Internet market is expected to grow from 5 million users in August 2000 to 7.1 million users by March 2001, increasing to 39.6
million users by March 2004 as per market estimates by Indian Market Research Bureau, a leading market research agency in India.
Rediff.com USA, http://us.rediff.com has also been improved with content that is customized for the Indian community in the United
States, including city specific pages of nine US cities. These pages provide listings of local news, events and directories for Indians in
the USA. Rediff.com USA now has an e-newsletter, providing daily and weekly updates on happenings relevant to the Indian
community.

To make the site more easily navigable, community and communication services, such as mail, chat, instant messenger, mobile
services as well as community services including E-Cards and Matchmaker have been arranged together under a single section while
content and service offerings have been grouped under common sections. "Just 4 You" section combines interest specific content and
services such as travel, astrology, contest, movies, downloads, romance, jobs, etc. "Money Manager" section merges financial news,
as well as personal finance information, with BSE & NSE stock indices, quotes and the portfolio tracker. "Today's Headlines"
combines breaking and business news, sports, news links, technology news, etc. with exclusive India and US led editorial features.
Rediff Chat has been upgraded to a total of 60 chat rooms, including 47 new chat rooms based on geography, layout and hangouts.
'Inside Rediff' has been specially introduced for new users at Rediff.com and is designed to show them how to make the most of the
Internet.
