It was a wedding to be remembered by residents of a dusty village near Mathura for years to come.

The groom and the bride decided to exchange garlands in a hot air balloon. Pawan, the groom, landed on the tiny village of Bhadawal near Mathura in a helicopter on Saturday, to enter the wedlock in the unique style.

People from nearby villages thronged in large numbers to witness the wedding.
