Celebrating Navratras: Make way for Maa Durga

As festive fever grips India, prepare to go 'holy' this season, and usher in the aura of Maa Durga, for here come the Navratras.

As the Navratras, the nine-day festival celebrating reign of good over evil commences, devotees made their way to temples, offering prayers to goddess Durga, seeking her divine intervention. Adding intensity and fervour were colourful 'pandals', cultural shows, diverse delights and cuisines.
